Most Tribunal cases are public.
You can ask us to consider keeping your case, or some of the information about your case, private and confidential.
You can do this by contacting us in writing.
We are able to prioritise some cases for a hearing. You should contact us to find out what you need to do, if you think you have a good reason for the Tribunal to prioritise your case.
You generally can't record a hearing or conference that you are involved in or are observing as a member of the public.
We record most hearings, but we don't provide you with a recording of the hearing for most types of cases.
We record the hearing to help the member write their decision or to keep for our own records. In these types of cases, you can usually inspect a transcript held by the Tribunal if one was produced as part of deciding the review.
For migration and protection (refugee) case types, you can request a copy of the recording at the end of the hearing, free of charge.
If you have a good reason, you can ask us to delay a listed hearing, conference or other case event.
We will let you know if we agree that you have a good reason to change the date.
You will need to contact us in writing if you want to delay your listed event.
If English is not your first language and you have been asked to a hearing, conference or other meeting with the Tribunal, we can arrange and pay for an interpreter for you.
You can't use a family member or friend to interpret for you.
We will send you a letter or email with information about how to ask for an interpreter.
