Change to NDIS application process from 28 March 2025

People who are lodging new applications for review of decisions made by the National Disability Insurance Agency will now use an improved online form.

The updated form is part of the Tribunal’s rollout of a new case management solution, which will gradually replace many of our existing systems.

The new National Disability Insurance Scheme form provides a better experience for applicants, including by being able to:

  • move easily between different sections of the form
  • lodge an application even if an internal review decision has not been made within 90 days of the request for internal review
  • request an extension of time for lodgement 
  • include more than one type of representative involved in their case.

Applications lodged prior to 28 March 2025 are still being managed using the original online services system.
