President Justice Emilios Kyrou has signed a new Practice Direction on expert evidence.

Signed on 9 December, the Administrative Review Tribunal (Expert Evidence) Practice Direction 2024 [PDF, 168 KB] (Expert Evidence Practice Direction) makes directions about the form and content of opinion evidence that experts provide to the Tribunal. It applies to all proceedings where expert evidence must or may be given, including both written reports and oral evidence.

This Practice Direction should be read together with the Administrative Review Tribunal (Common Procedures) Practice Direction 2024 [PDF, 434 KB].

The Tribunal also released an optional expert report cover sheet [PDF, 173 KB] to assist experts to comply with the Practice Direction.
